Icon6 Low idle

When my 97 Civic EX warms up the idle sits at about 800 then gradually drops to about 600-650. Doesn't struggle to stay running or turn off. Everytime the rpms drop you can hear a bearing like sound going out coming from either the power steering pump, a/c compressor or crank shaft area. I also smelt something burning like a belt. And once in a blue moon does a belt squeal on start up.

What is it?

Checked the power steering belt and looks like it needs replacing.

Yes, but can't get a positive feed.

95% of times a low idle is from the Idle air control valve being clogged. Clean it.

Also, a valve adjustment may be in order

You should do that if you're smelling rubber burning.
