LOUD exhaust ticking
I recently got my exhaust pipe installed on my eg. The pipe is from the cat to the muffler. The exhaust starts ticking after about 5 minutes of driving, doesnt matter what type of weather, and it will continue to tick while I'm driving, and after the car is shut off. When i had my old exhuast , it never ticked!! Can anyone explain.

Re: LOUD exhaust ticking (redex94)
Does it get faster/louder with the speed of the engine?
If it does, it sounds like an exhaust leak. Check the gaskets and connections.

Re: LOUD exhaust ticking (redex94)
Is your exhaust pasted out different pieces/metals?
(pipes, welds, bolts, gaskets, ect...)
Different metals expand and contract at different rates.
Mine tics sometimes after the engine is shut off (when the pipes are cooling off), but that's pretty normal.
