Loud clacking noise when letting off the clutch
My 94 civic coupe has a loud clacking noise idling in neutral with my foot off the clutch, goes away when the clutch pedal is in.I've also had a grinding noise when accelerating in 1st and 2nd gears
I replaced the clutch with an Exedy kit a few months ago,so I don't think its the throw out bearing.Maybe a bearing inside the tranny? Anyone else have this problem?

The noise could be coming from your input shaft bearing.
The shifting grind could be a few things. honestly it's probably just an old tranny mang.

If you do end up replacing the input shaft bearing I suggest you do the throw out bearing and pilot bearing as well while your at it
