Lots and questions need help
Hey I am driving a 92 hatchback dx and I wanted to know if anyone could help me with the following things:
1. Integra dashboards fight right in I believe but the gauges that they use do I need to rewire them at all. Or will my civic harnesses plug right in.
2. I am installing lights in my car and I wanted to know if there is anyway to make my own fuse and if there is can someone tell me how.
3. I was reading about single wiper conversions and all I found was take one of the blades off. Well when i thought about it part of the window if its raining won't be wiped so is there another way to do it or did I just overlook something.
4. If I install new gauges and my needles fall of is it useless or can I put it back in.
I would appreciate help if anyone cares to give it. I am trying to learn how to do this stuff myself so that is why I have so many questions. Thanks

the dash needs a little work to get in... here is the wiring (i think) http://patriot.net/~merritt/gauge.html
here is the dash swap

2. I'm not sure what you mean "make your own fuse"... fuses are available in any amperage... and fuse holders are available at radioshack... or probobly pep boys AZ etc...
3. You'll get made fun of but... http://www.polo-gt.co.uk/styli....html
that's for another car but it's the same idea... you make the stroke of the 1 wiper longer by moving the mount hole.
4. if you mean guage faces... yes.. you can get them off and back on but it's not easy and in my opinion NOT WORTH IT... the faces will look gay unless they TOTALLY replace the stockones.. and even then they probobly won't look right.
Oh and all of these answers were found by searching....
good luck.

Re: Lots and questions need help (NightKids)
1. you have to make custom brackets for the dash to fit right, and you have to modify your door panels so your door can close.
2. dunno, fuses are so cheap that i've never considered diy'ing em.
3. yes, that's why it's called single wiper. it's not cool, not useful, and shouldn't be done.
4. as long as you know exactly where the needle sits when the power is off and you line it back up with that spot, then there shouldn't be too much of a problem. however, it's not hard to put gauge overlays on without removing the needles.
