lost of power

Default lost of power

today i put a msd blaster 2 coil in my car. and i drove it around and it feels like there less power than what the stock coil had. n e one else have this problem.

did you completely remove the dizzy? did you recheck timming? if you think it is the coil, swap the oe one back in.

just pulled the cap and took the rotor off and pulled the o.e. coil and put the rotor back in and feels like a higher rpms theres no power

Did you reconnect the plug wires in the wrong order?

no firing order is good and it starts no misfire or nothing just no power at higher rpms

some people dont have good luck with msd. i am making 540 whp with a 6al and the same coil. i guess i got some good stuff. i dont know.

switch coil b/c going to turbo next week and wanted to up grade my coil my bro has msd in his turbo car and works fine.

probly a good idea, the msd may work better with the turbo setup though, maybe wait till thats all put together and see which one performs better.
