lost power.....
When i shift to second gear, my gear gives small pulls. It seems like i have no power in the engine. Also, when i turn the ac (which doesnt blow out cold air, but ac fan works) on, its even worst... When i shift to a gear it does not give me a strong pull.. I will gas it all the way and my speed does not exponetially increase... it increases very slowly. (seems like im driving up an uphill with an automatic car) Any help of how to gain my engine back to normal is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
p.s. i recently replaced my spark plugs, spark plug wires, and had a tune up, but it still does not give me the engine power like before. I have 96 Civic Ex 2dr.

Re: (Otherguy)
Well.. this happened before.. like 2 months ago, so i had spark plugs replaced and also replace spark plug wires with apc 9.3mm wires. While at it, i got a tune up. After that it worked for a while but i started noticing the power delay 2 days ago and its getting worst. After 20 mins of driving with my car on idle or neutral... my rpm is little less than 500rpm which i know is kinda abnormal. I somewhat feel the engine shaking due to the low rpm. Can you help?

Re: (theeogflip)
so...
you had a tune up 2 months ago. it ran well. 2 days ago it started crapping out. right?
check your plugs, and throw those apc plug wires in the trash. at least go get some ngk's at autozone if nothing else. it definitely sounds like an electrical problem to me, check your cap and rotor, etc.

ive had something like this happen to me before, it was because of my spark plug wires, one easy way to check it is to turn on your engine pull the spark plug wires out one by one, making sure u put it back before pulling out another, if your engine acts the same when u pull one of the wires, then pretty much that wire is no good, but if you try all the wires and the motor still acts the same then your problem is elsewhere.

I would suggest wearing gloves when you do something like this.
I was trying to fix a tiller and I was trying to see if it was getting a spark. I took out the plug and was holding it when I pulled the starter rope. My entire arm went numb from the shock I recieved.
Yeah, it was getting a spark.
