Loss of fuel pressure?
Every time I start my car, I have to wait about 5 sec. for the pump to pressurize the fuel lines. I put a fuel gauge on, and I found out that every time I shut my car off, the fuel pressure drops to 0. Is it suppose to be like that? Or do I possibly have a leak somewhere? How can I check for leaks? Thanks.

Re: Loss of fuel pressure? (youngkow)
I think you lose pressure in your fuel lines because the pump isn't pumping anymore when you turn your car off, therefore it makes no pressure. When you wait for the first 5 seconds, your letting the pump pressurize the lines, which is need for normal operation.
