Lose the mud guards?
I had mudguards already previously installed on my ek from the dealership when I first brought it in the summer. To me they dont look comestically ugly or anything and I wouldnt mind having them on. By having mud guards on does it make my car more prone to rust or any other issues?

I took the mud guards off of my Del Sol because they started to chip the clear coat under them (before I lowered it). I dont like them because you can't clean behind them easily.

all they do is keep the car cleaner...so i suppose it would be a rust prevention method if you lived where they salt the roads in the winter
I was thinking about buying a set for my ek in the winter

i have a set on my car, i wouldn't praise them by any means. Its winter hear and the roads are really dirty. I find they build up with snow really easilly because of the shape.
but they do an pretty good job and im sure there pretty cheap to buy also.
