Default looping power steering 96-00 need help! got lost

according to this guy:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...civic-2538767/

2 fittings you need to loop. One is 14mm X 1.5 and the other is 16mm X 1.5. I used these adapters (I ordered from this site too and they came in a few days): Metric Adapters

Youll need part numbers FCM2240 and FCM2241.

From there I used whats called socketless hose. Part number FCM1512 on this page ( Aeroquip Socketless Hose) fits on the adapters listed above. Part # FBN0600 is the hose I used to loop them, I bought 2 ft but you could probably get away with 1 ft. I did drain a lot of the fluid out of the rack though, only leave a little in there to keep it lubricated. If you wanna use full SS braided off the adapter fittings you can do that and piece together your own lines. The hose im using has been working great though and its black so it stays out of sight.

I hope this can help you guys looking to CORRECTLY eliminate power steering!!
according to him above^

i buy 2 fittings:
1x 14mm x 1.5mm -06AN fitting (according to the first link he posted above, it shows this part number : FBM2240)
1x 16mm x 1.5 -06AN fitting (according to the first link he posted above, it shows this part number : FBM2241)
2x FCM1512 (socketless hose i believe?) (bolts onto:[1x 14mm x 1.5mm -06AN] [1x 16mm x 1.5mm -06AN]) correct

the actual hose FBN0600

now what confuses me is where do these 2 fittings(below quote) fit into the above ^^ or am i missing something here
FCM2240 and FCM2241.
maybe im tripping but i just ebay'd these 2 part numbers that he said originally above
FCM2240 and FCM2241
that is pretty much same thing as these 2 part numbers which i found from the guys original link. BUT he says get the FCM part numbers
FBM2240
FBM2241

but what makes the differene between FBM and FCM

im gonna buy a T fitting and get a breather too, but i can figure that out on my own.

You need to read the entire thread.

For example:

UPDATE
If you would like to take the time to figure it out, i noticed that you can build the same setup with Earl's Fittings and hose for a fraction of the costs from baker.

If you want manual steering, why not just install a manual rack? 94

I believe for the 96-00 civics you have to replace the subframe as well in order to fit a manual rack.
