Default looking to swap. what motor be best? b16?

i am looking to swap a motor in. Would the h22 be a good motor to put in a 93 honda civic hatchback. or go with the b16? thanks alot.

you should do a search on this. it's been covered alot of times...b16 vs h22a, etc.

but it'll all depend on what you want and how much you are willing to spend.

for me, i bought a b16 instead of the h22a...knowing that they are very close in price. but what i also kept in mind was that the b16 when said and done, it'll be easier and way way cheaper compared to the h22a. then there goes the h22a has more power/torque, etc. discussion. like i said, it'll depend on you.

b16 would be easier, h22 would be cooler to see...but yeah search and ask questions later.

if i were you i would get a gsr engine with a type r tranny....that's what my boy has in his 93 civic coupe. and he runs a 9.5 in the 1/8th mile....it has lots of torque and close ratio. i have a 2000 civic si with intake, header, exhaust and he just walks me big time.
