Looking for shift light, gauges. Creative places to mount or hide in a 96-00 civic (EK)
Well I am looking for pics of people with different places to mount gauges or VAFC besides pillar mounts or the guage cluster mounts want something original. I know you can hide you shift light in the center A/C duct for that hidden sleeper look. SO post up your pics and lets see how creative you all can get.
Thanks

Im looking for the same kind of thing...I found something in a rather ricey publication for selling car parts (jc whitney sport compact) that is a surround for the original guages (not sure what its called) but it held two small guages at the corners...seemed like a good idea for like 60 dollars or so...

I like the autometer cluster bezels too. I saw one in a type R, looks much cleaner and pretty stock. A-pillar pods attract the wrong attention in my opinion. gives it away that you have mods, i want to keep my car.
Saw an EF with the shift light mounted in the driver side air vent. I thought that was slick. I think it's even stealthier than the front. just thought I'd share.

Remember though you need some kind of tach to set the pivot light. It blinks like a strobe light.

well i thought of one driving around yesterday...In my car I was thinking about cutting a hold in the small cubby hole thingy beside the radio and putting the shift light in there..have to make it semi flush though so you could see it...

so theives wont see them. We're not talking about hiding them, just making them less noticeable

For the V-AFC, try the sunvisor.

It's a Blitz Power Meter i-D. Really fun little toy. It measures your 0-whatever MPH, 1/4 times, etc. It also has a 'dyno' on it that estimates your HP. Seems to be pretty accurate... Shitty pic below:
