Default Looking Into a Hatch

If you were going to get one to mod, what year would u guys get. I mean have you had any problems making a hybrid? What is the easiest year when looking for? Also do you look for anything in the ecu like on a mitsu you want a eprom, just curious all opinions will be great, also i noticed alot of CX HB are cheaper then SI's Not sure, since i plan on a motor swap in the very new feature would it be better to go with a 92, cause of price only being around 2000 for the car. Just a thought, if i wanted to drop lets say a b15c5 motor, and go for all motor support, would i want a SI setup or a CX, is there any huge difference's i know im going to need the axels and so on for the conversion of the new motor. If someone could give me a response from there experience that would be great.

what year hatch is your choice. the 92-95 EG chassis and the 97-00 Ek use the same mounts. get whichever is in ur budget and which u think looks apealing to you. Typically the EG's are cheaper, because of being older and having more miles.

If you want to drag race it id go with an H22A (Prelude) engine or a turbo B18. If you want to track (road race) you could go with alot of different swaps. If you have the money, id go with a B20VTEC (mad torque) or a H22A (need good suspension tho).

i already have one
id go with an Si simply because i want a moon/sunroof. CX is lighter though. Si already has rear disc brakes, CX has rear drums.
Si ownz j00!!! comes with a better motor (stock) as well.

true. but a hatch with GSR front and rear discs and booster will brake WAY better. and its not that expensive at all.
