Default looking for info on valve cover

[IMG]this might be a stupid ? idk, but im not trying to catch a bunch of **** for it so , informative Info only , thanks

looking for the valve cover below , is it available, discontinued, Rare, ETC? I can find it all day long for the DOHC , but didnt know it was made for SOHC, could be a Knock off too any help/info is appreciated

iv seen them around at many shops, but i think their knock off or maybe their all knock off idk

it is a knock-off because they dont make new mugen sohc vs's, but i mean if you like the look of it then get it. there is a real mugen sohc valve cover though, but im pretty sure it was only for really old motors. like early 80's i wanna say.



you can find that particular vc on ebay i'm pretty sure, or here..

go on kingmotorsports.com look for their phone number call them and ask. they are the sole north american distributor for mugen products

they will just tell you there wasnt a real d-series mugen valve cover...they may not laugh at you while on the phone but when you hang up they sure will

I wonder how many calls they get with different pronunciations of Mugen.

moo-ghen
moo-jin
myu-ghen
myu-jin.

hmm...

Anyway, the OP's VC posted is not original Mugen. Mugen only makes/made them for DOHC (with regards to the older one posted up there^)

I pronounce it moo-gen. If you look at the Hiragana the MU is pronounced MOO and the GE is pronounced GEH like you're saying GET, and you just add the N to it.
