Default Looking for a good quiet axleback for my hatch. Does this one suck?

Do you think apex would sell me an axleback section of the world sport 1 or 2? I have the b pipe and I am in need of a 2.25" somewhat quiet rear section. I came across this tenzo axleback. Anyone heard it? Any other suggestions besides the expensive twin loop?

ws2 apexi n1 is rice. its hgue and ugly i would rather spray paint a garbage can silver adn dutc tape it under my real bumper. get spoon or try to find the rsr ex mag in a rear section. i got a 5zigen fireball painted black. i like it but back when i thought it was cool i bought it but it soudns real nice. but i would rather have a custom mandrel bend with es muffler or rsr ex mag

he didnt ask for your opinion he asked if they sold it. Nobody cares what exhaust you like or what you think is "rice." YOU ARE RICE!!! (just an example of how easy an opinion can be stated i dont believe in that whole judging of rice vs "JDM")

That Tenzo is straight-through, meaning it won't be quiet unless your existing b-pipe has a fat resonator, or you weld in a fat resonator to make things quiet. I used to have that same Tenzo rear-section on my EJ8, and it gets a from me. While the quality was good, the fitment was horrible, and yes, it was made for my car. However, it did sound pretty good, though. I just wish it fit better. So, you can buy it, but plan on getting a resonator (or two) to make it quiet.

Apexi is not producing the World Sport 1. I was just in contact with them and they siad that they stopped producing them so i ended up getting the World Sport 2.

But both are very quiet.

Not sure if it's larger, but it's rolled versus the non-rolled tip of the first World Sport. http://apexi-usa.com/news.asp?ID=55

I have a Dynomax Ultraflow Welded muffler with a custom-bent pipe to the axle flange. It's quiet, it's not flashy looking, and it sounds good. Just my dos pesos.

First off for the guy who had problems with this post needs to read the whole thread. The poster asked for a quiet axle back and the first reply was to get a apexi N1 WS2. They are two very different exhaust with two very different sounds. gen5hatch was stating the differences between the two just a little more colorfully than most.

And yes the WS2's tip has rolled edges and looks to be a bit smaller. I had the WS 1 on my four door and I have a WS2 sitting in my garage to go on my hatch. I have talked to a few people who have had both and they say that they both sound the same.

I didn't see that apex had a 4 door eg application. What did you order to fit? The 4 door GSR?

Civic coupe and 4 door have the same exhaust dimensions.

However if you have a swap I believe you need to order it for the original application. i have a gsr swap in a 93 cx and the civic model exhaust is about 3 inches too short. I think the teg exhaust would be the correct length.

i have the whole greddy sp catback system on my eg right now. It sounds louder then my old 00 si(whole apexi n1 catback system), when I drive. It bugs but hey got no money to take that sucker out. It was easier the control the sound of the n1 but that was back when my Si wasn't stolen.
