Looking for EVAP fix P0453 (91) Pantometer, etc. HELLLPPP!!!!
Hey guys, I ran across an article explaining the exact procedure required to make the code P0453 (91) (EVAP pressure too high code) go away in OBDII civics without the fuel tank pressure sensor. My 1997 hatchback had the D16Y7 and I swapped it for the D16Y8, turns out the D16Y8 VTEC cars had this little fuel tank pressure thingy, and mine doesn't, so after 8+ hours post reset it pops a CEL that stays on forever. Is there anyone out there that can help me get rid of this stupid thing? I remember the article said something about getting a potentiometer from Radio Shack and it would trick the ECU into thinking there was a "perfect" pressure signal coming from the part that I don't have on my fuel tank. HELP!!

probably wouldve helped if you bumped it more.
H-T moves really fast and by the end of the day it was probably at the end of page 4...people arent going to see it then.
