Default looking for del sol

I had a 91 crx with a zc motor, stage 3 clutch, i/h/e, and a short shifter, and i loved the car. It had 16" rims and stock suspension and it handled so nice, but this morning i lost the oil pump this morning, and spun a bearing. I really dont wanna put a new motor in it, and i have a friend who has a del sol for sale, its completely stock, and not an sir. I was wondering how it would compare to having a crx. Any feedback would be helpful

chassis would not be as rigid as a crx, most likely it is heavier than the crx, but just think, now you can drive topless it's still a really fun car to drive though. btw, how did the 16in rims look on your crx? did it make your car look like a tank? im stuck btwn getting 15 or 16in rims on my car.

the 16's looked perfect, they were silver motegi mr7's on nitto 205/40 r16s, all it needed as to be lowered 1.5 inches. For some reason 17's look huge on it, and it sits way too high.

word to that! look at how many people on ht have del sol seats in their civics. the only other honda cars that i can think of that come with seats like those, stock, are the s2000 and ep3 civics. and i've sat in those seats in the ep3, stiff and uncomfortable as hell! and its still not as snug and as low (those other seats are high as hell) as del sol seats. haha even a cop asked me if my seats were aftermarket, he was suprised when i told them they came stock.

Hey I'm not even old enough to have a car yet, but when I do I'm going Sol, so if anyone has anythings to tell me about Sols go right ahead. Like maybe mods that might be nice.

If its not an SiR, its not worth it. For that price, you could probably land a mint Accord Type R.

I love my del sol, the power rear window, the fun with the top down, i'd say, do it, but that's just because i love the whole hardtop, 2 seater, plenty of speed, and CHICK MAGNET idea. talk to ya later
