Looking at buying 95 civic cx. No tach??
I went and took a look at a 95 civic cx the other day it looked all good. Exept for the fact that it had no tach. I did some reading and found that was preaty standerd on those. So I was wondering how hard it would be to put a tach in. As in would it be getting a diffrent dash from like a 95 si and sticking it in. Our is it even a posiblity to put in a tach with out upgrading something more? thanks for the help.
Ps searched for found nothing.

You can put a tach in the CX cluster but you would probly save alot of time and effort by just going to a junk yard and getting a cluster out of a car just plug and play. I have a CX and it has a Si cluster in it and it does the job great

Ahh cool so it is as easy as just swaping in another modles dash with a tach cool. thanks for the help. When i went for a test drive in it. it was a little weird not having a tach just no clue about where you are in the power band with out knowing the car well.

cx's dont have tach's. just the si's and vx's. but its pretty much plug and play for swapping the gauges
