Looking for the best cam and cam gear????
I just did the y8 vtec swap into my del sol, and I already have a aem fuel rail, b & m adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a K&N CAI. I also have msd wires, msd distributor cap, and a msd coil (basically a waste of money on the msd though) and I have a centerforce clutch, a lightened flywheel, and a lightened underdrive crank pulley. I am wanting more horsepower, and I was thinking about putting a cam and cam gear in, which cam and gear brings the most horsepower? Or am I going the wrong route? Please let me know, thanks a lot guys.........

The Zex 59300 cam is good, but noisy as ****. I'd suggest upgrading your valvetrian with it as well. My friend (built2spill) has the zex cam in a built z6, and it does okay for what it is.

man there's a ton of good cams for the y8. exospeed, zex, jun, crower yadda yadda. search for "cam" in this forum, and the all motor forum's archives. check out http://www.exospeed.com. make sure you understand cam profiles and such before you buy one. also consider upping the compression to a point where the cam you choose likes it.

if they make one for the D, st corsa is what i'd get for sure.
