looking at a 93 LX sedan.....
Auto tranny, 150k miles. What are some common problems with these?
Mechanical wise. The rear quarter panel rust problem is obvious.
Car isnt for me, a relative is looking to buy for a daily driver.....

Hey I have a 93 Civic LX Sedan...lets see what problems i've had over the last 2 years (dad bought it new, gave it to me in 2001)
Transmission input shaft bearing
Exhaust hanging low in the middle
Power Windows out of alignment - REALLY big problem
Clicking noise from drum brakes
Ignition coil in distributor (My friend had this problem with his 92 DX)
Horrible fading on bumpers...(My car is milano red...the top of the front and rear bumpers are bright pink)
Thats about it...make sure it isnt burning oil and the transmission shifts smoothly, CV joints are okay, normal stuff
