You're going to need frame work.

By your cousin's car for 700
Buy a shell, no engine/mods.
Put all the mods from your cousin's car and put them in the shell.
I'd take that route if I had a wrecked car.

dude i work at a body shop. and they wouldnt even look at that car. your goin to need new quarter panel/s the driver one is buckled to ****. and u prolly have roof damage too. and your goin to need a rear tub put it. the hours on that would alone total that car. not to mention the price on new quarters and rear tubs, trunk, glass, bumper, defuser. id say buy it, and buy a another shell and drop the goods into that one.

whats price on a quarter and a rear tub? and hours isnt a problem for me i have a whole summer b4 i start college to work on this thing and so does my best friend (the body specialist) so we'll probably spend alot of may-september rebuilding the rear end of this car and the passenger side is untouched... as unbelieveable as it may seem it is completely untouched throw me some numbers and ill see what i have to work with here cause i dont know the prices on body panels

Re: (kaoss_11)
Just take everyones advice and buy it and then swap out everything in to a new shell.......because it's just not worth trying to fix that one

Re: lookin at buyin a 94 civic ex (94c1v1cex)
i agree with kaoss, i wouldnt pay more than 500 and then i would just buy nice shell and swap everything over and part out whatever is left that is still in good shape such as doors, seats, fenders, front bumper, and so on
but thats just what i would do. .
also, i didnt bother to read any of the replies except for the OP's and the dude above me(kaoss) so nobody get all pissy if someone already said this . .

prices guys? i guess i just cant see how a whole shell can be cheaper than one quarter panel and possibly a tub... and the roof is fine no damage done there throw me some prices

That car is jacked, it would probably cost 5k to fix it. Buy it for 700, then pick up a real nice shell for 1000 and youll have a nice car.
Again, don't ask for prices, its going to be rediculous lol

I wouldn't touch that project of replacing the rear end on that car for anything.

well i picked up 2 mint running civics (EJ1 and an EJ2), the EJ2 cost me 200 and the EJ1 cost me 500
and picked up 2 shells both EJ2's for 400 (200 each) which were for friends of mine
it's all about how much you look around.. you could get a shell in good condition prolly for like 200-400 bucks if you really look into it and swap that motor and tranny over to it. . but all and all, that car aint worth the hassel of fixin
and as i said, you can sell off all the extra **** left in or on it afterwards and prolly make most or all of the cash back that was spent on the shell
