this is a pic of the underside of my 93 hatch. i ran over 4 city tities tryin to avoid be hit. plus now it's makin this very loud rattlin noise that gets louder with the more the gas is pushed.
sorry for the vagueness...i'm not too technical as you may see.
how can i go about fixing this.

Get a new one. You can try to JB weld that, but your better off getting a new one.

That's not the type of damage that would really require you to replace the whole tranny IMHO. Either JB weld that, or get a new bellhousing from the junkyard...

If you know someone that can weld cast aluminum then the fix is simple. I had a similar problem with two of my vehicles, one being a talon, and the other my truck that isn't exactly stock, well it broke the tranny bellhousing and i got it fixed for like $25. As for the talon, i got it fixed for $35 cux it was still in the car. find a good welder, or shell out cash for a new one.

I'm not in you car to hear your rattling noise but i would say it is the broken tranny piece that is rattling, so if you weld it back together and that was your noise, the welding will fix it. but if your rattling is coming from something else then i would say no.

i just went out there for further inspection and it seems that i also snapped part of the exhaust line, cuz when i rev the motor nothin but white smoke comes out this crack now ( i think this may be my rattling problem too)

Yeah thats the best way to fix it, Iwouldnt JB weld it. Just transfer tranny cases so you can inspect all the gears in the tranny also.

take tranny out...strip it down....take guts out....take it to a welder....i have had a worse hole welded in mine...and by the looks of it you have no tranny fluid so don't drive on it!

JB weld is pretty good for the casing, but might as well just replace it.
