Long block help, Need experienced people.
Sorry to double post, but I need some quick answers... and the hybrid people are slow
Anyone have any experience in buying just a long block? and then adding the transmission later? And was it cheaper that the entire swap. The reason im leaning toward a long block is its only 900.(b16a2 si motor) And I would be buying new axles, inter shaft, clutch, flywheel, mounts, and LSD tranny anyway, so would this be the best way to save some bucks? or is there more missing from the long block then i know?

It's usually cheaper and easier to buy a complete swap. With a long block sometimes individual components are more expensive, and sometimes little things are missing. A nut here, and a bolt there.
