little help here
does anyone know how to kill the beeping noise made when the keys are in the ignition and the door is open on a 2000 civic? mine is backwards do the beeping is made wen the keys are NOT in the ignition. Im pretty sure theres some kind of relay for it but i dunno where it is.

spray some wd40 in the ignotion and some times that will cure they problem.. i had the same problem when i had to replace my ignition....

Check your fuses. I had that with a friends car and it was annoying as hell so i never kept the keys in. Went through all his fuses (for the original problem of his car) replaced the fuses and noticed that noise was gone. Dont ask me which one it was cause i dont know but check fuses.
