Default List of all Engines, and Styles for Del Sol and Civic

I'm putting together a site that lists parts and places to buy parts for the Civic and Del Sol, and am trying to come up with the different Civics (and Del Sols) that were available and what engine they had.

I've done some searching and this is what I've come up with. Is this list correct?

Civic DX 1992-1995 1.5L I4 SOHC
Civic EX 1992-1995 1.6L I4 VTEC
Civic Si 1992-1995 1.6L I4 VTEC
Civic LX 1992-1995 1.5L I4 SOHC
Civic DX 1996-2000 1.6L I4 SOHC
Civic LX 1996-2000 1.6L I4 SOHC
Civic CX 1996-2000 1.6L I4 SOHC
Civic EX 1996-2000 1.6L SOHC VTEC
Civic Si 1999-2000 1.6L DOHC VTEC

I don't have the Del Sol specs.. I know they are a variation of one of the above Civic models??

You'll also want to get engine codes to make that list even more helpful.

I'm going to assume, the JDM SIR did not make it to the US? Is the "VTEC" model, really called VTEC? And is the base model called "S"?

Yes that's all right. It really was called the VTEC.

When I was making the list, I purposely omitted some of the less popular styles.

Are the VP, GX, HX, VX, and CX very common?

I know I might come off like an ******* here, but somebody has to say it

Keep some consistancy, u got this:
Civic EX 1992-1995 1.6L I4 VTEC

and

Civic Si 1999-2000 1.6L DOHC VTEC

Put SOHC on the EX and SI motors for 92-95

VP is Value package. It's a sublet of sedan trim levels. So, most VP, are still DX, LX, and EX

The CX is all too common, as is HX. VX 92-95 hatch is a little less common.

Also, it for some reason has been omitted, but HX is EJ7. I think GX is only in California.

I included every trim level that was sold in the United States. I did not include sub-trim models such as LX-ABS, LX-A/C and EX-S. If you want those though, let me know.

VP, HX, VX, and CX are fairly common. The GX is very rare.

The '99-00 VP is actually based on the DX sedan. I've heard it referred to as "VP," "DX-VP," and "DX-V."

Whoops, I forgot to add the chassis code for the HX. Thanks for catching that.
