Default Linkage?

anyone know how to get the shift linkage off of a 98 ex tranny? one part unbolts, but the other part i dont think does....

there's a pin in there you have to knock out to get it apart. Get a mallet and something just the right size to knock it out

i dont even expletive with that bitch pin. the pin is located under the rubber boot where the linkage connects to the tranny. you have to knock it out with a punch and a hammer...or you can just unbolt the linkage from the shifter and leave it connected to the tranny, which is what i did when i replaced my clutch last weekend...2 days before i wrecked my ******* car.

that blows man, well i am sellin the d series tranny and going to a GSR motor, and i wasnt sure if the linkage was the same or not so i really wanted to save the linkage, but its being funking stupid so i doubt i will get to keep linkage

Not the same linkage anyway.

B series linkage is slightly different. You need an 94-01 integra or 99-00 SI linkage.
