lightweight crank pulley??

Default lightweight crank pulley??

will a lightweight crank pulley harm the oil pump in any way? I am thinkin about buying one and have heard yes and no.

This is a highly discussed topic. However, there is no real proof that it will damage your oil pump, but there's also no proof it won't. People say it will because it's not balanced or dampened, and some people blame their oil pump failure on the pulley. Until someone actually studies any of this, I'll just keep my stock pulley

The main problem, is the undampened crank pullies, such as the CTR knockoff everyone is selling. If there is nothing to absorb the vibrations, something has to give.

But a true CTR N1 pulley isn't dampened anyway. The main argument people make about that is that it's not designed for longevity, but for power
