Hey HT, I have a stock 92 civic hatch and recently my lights went out on me and they won't turn back on at all , I have hids and I tried putting on my friends hids and they still dont work. I also tried putting in fuses under the dash and that still didnt work the fuses in the fuse box under the good dont seem to be burnt out. My corner lights will come on but not my headlights, and when I try to turn on my headlights my high beam light is stuck on, i have tried click them off a million times but they are not turning off. What should I do and whoa shoulda go about solving this problem ? My friend suggests to buy a new engine wiring harness to make them work again but I just wanted to know what you guys think before I do anything drastic, I need this car to get to work, and finish my swap so please help. Test the switch and the hood and dash fuses for the headlights.

Try and put stock bulbs. See what happens.
But in my experiences it sounds like it could be a poor contact inside the combination switch (actual headlight,wiper lever) unit

I had a civic that did the same thing. I changed out the combo switch and it fixed it. I have a few left over from honda builds. Let me know if you need one I could sell you one for cheap.

Mine went out as well.. The only reason that I knew it was the switch was due to the burnt plastic smell and hole.. I would check that first.. They are very simple to change.
