Lightened flywheel - idle problems!

My friend isntalled a lightened flywheel into his Civic and now he has idle going from 500 to 1500RPM. EACV changed, vacuum lines are OK. Can this cause the lightened flywheel?

how light did he go and don't think it would range like that though *not super sure though*

I don;t know the weight, bu it was enough, there remained about 1mm material from the teeths.

flywheel shouldn't affect idle.
