Default Light problem

I have a 92 hatch and sometimes when im driving at night my low beams just cut out for no reason, therefore meaning i have to drive down the highway with my highbeams on. Or it happens when i use my highbeams and go back to my low beams they cut out, has anyone had this problem before or could lead me in the direction of fixing it.

Have you checked all the wiring behind the headlights?

I have, but ill probably recheck all the wiring and clean the connectors. It only wants to act funny on the damn highway, other than that its fine. I know its nothing that i did because it did it when i first bought that hatch and before i even took the motor out.

turn on your lights, open up your hood, and start shaking wires. Sounds like it's a loose, funny, or partial connection that comes undone under vibration. Just try to shake stuff to see if you can pin point. Maybe also bump your fuse box around to see if it could be there.

Just a thought,
Cheers.
