Default lever that holds hood open and dust cover question

hello, my hood lever broke ( friend thought I had hydraulic hood ). Anyway, how hard is it to install?

number 11 in pic



also I couldn't get a bolt in the rear disc brake dust cover in so I took it off, am I goin to be fine driving like that?

very easy, lift it straight up, and pull it towards the passenger side and it slides right off. u are prefectly fine driving without dust shields
