Letting go of my EG shell for a CRX shell......
Seriously thinking about doing a shell-to-shell trade. My '94 CX for '90 CRX si. What do you think would be a fair trade? We're both keeping our motor setup, having worked out on the other details yet so everything else is up in the air. Trying to get some opinions on what would be a fair trade.
Here are the 2 cars:
'94 Civic CX (130k miles on chassis, 7k miles on new itr block)
Clean carfax, no accidents, body is in good shape with only a few minor dings and scratches.
SUSPENSION: Tanabe sustec pro II coilovers, srr rear lca's painted black, skunk2 rear lower tie bar, benen front upper strut bar, j's racing rear upper pillar bar
INTERIOR: jdm eg6 defroster switch, cluster, clock, climate control, fog light switch, spoon steering wheel, jdm coin pocket, , honda optional armrest, black vafc2, itr shift boot, spoon shift ****
EXTERIOR: jdmshit carbon hood, jdm eg6 lip, jdm headlights, taillights, corners, sidemarkers,fog lights, spoon wing, spoon mirrors (plastic), spoon lugs, Wilwood big brake kit with rotors and ss brake lines, mudflaps.
1990 Y49 Honda CRX Si
New 01 R Phoenix Yellow Paint all new seals,
moldings,
front and rear bumper skins,
Seibon carbon fiber hood
wiper arms and blades front and rear
new oem headlight housings
All turn signal corner lens and reflector's replaced with new oem parts. Custom 10 point cage installed Hasport billet engine mounts MOTOR:
Thermal 3 inch exhaust
Walpro 255 high pressure in tank pump DRIVE TRAIN:
Innovative Mounts Hydro to Cable conversion
Full Race traction bars and radiator with 12inch spal puller fan
Samco Hose kit Tein Super Street coilovers
Skunk 2 front upper control arms
Skunk 2 rear lower control arms
Suspension techniques swaybars

I guess I'm the only one on the board that's gonna tell you to do it! IMO hatches are over played and I love CRXs! but to each his own, ultimately its your choice

Maybe he's a CRX fan? Maybe he's tired of seeing the same car around...we have alot of CRX's here, but all look like ****. It's rare to see a decently nice one, even then it has flaws. most CRX's here are primered, have 5" muffler tips, stock height with some little wheels with little profile...etc...to each his own. Do what you think you will be happy with...
