Lets compare short shifters... SHALL WE?!
ok, opinions on these... search... yadda yadda yadda. i know. but lets compare a few of the most common ones... as i have a chance at a cheap price for either one from a local source.
DC, Skunk2, B&M
all are made from steel....
im looking at single and dual bends (correct me if im wrong, but isn't that stock position and a dual is a bit more back?)
im just looking for the pros and cons of these, fitment, performance, or if there is really a difference, thanks.
p.s., the guy i emailed about the dc, he said it "only comes with the washers and spacers" isn't that all you need?
thanks again.

I have run a few, and am currently using a Skunk2 Dual Bend shifter. I love it. Best one yet, and its stock height.

i got in on that group buy for the evasive motorsports shifter on these forums... and so far it rocks, perfectly crisp and smooth. it even looks pretty good too.

Re: (ChewiSi)
I have a Skunk2 dual bend. Love it. Sits a tiny bit lower than stock, I was afraid that I would be hitting my elbow on the center consol, but ended up being pleasantly surprised when I shifted into 4th and it sat like 4 inches from neutral.

It's not an uncommon occurence for aftermarket short shifters to hit the exhaust shield coz they position the shifter's pivot point lower. It's a quick fix with a nudge or two with a crowbar on the exhaust shield. The DC Sports shifters are made of aluminum and I've heard of more than one person snapping them so I'd stay away. I've been a happy owner of a Skunk2 dual bend for almost 2 years now and it's performed well. Just make sure you get the poly bushings put in well as well, makes a big difference in the shifter feel.

another dual-bend Evasive group buy shifter here, I love it. I'm thinking it's a b&m due to mention of such in the installation instructions, but I could be wrong. rocking the ES shifter bushings, Skunk2 **** and OEM Type R boot as well

Skunk2 is a shitty company. For that reason alone you should get the other ones.

oh. my. god. no! A company makes a mistake, and the owner is a dickwad... who cares?
I don't seem to be having any problems with my dual bend short throw...
I know I'm not a bench racer, and I'm not a nobody, so who the expletive cares what he thinks? People on this board take **** too seriously.
