Default Left Turn Signal Gone Crazy

I have 94 civic hatch, and this morning i got up, started my car, let it wearm up, all the usual, and i go to make my 1st left turn, and my left turn signal turned into a hyper turn signal. It started blinking really fast. (at least the sound and the light inside the gauge cluster did) So after i got to my destination i get out and check it...and both left front and left rear turn signals are blinking very fast.

Has this happened to anyone else? i searched for this type of problem...and came up with nothing. I didn't do anything to them, i'm against that whole fast blinker thing. And its only my left ones. Please help! i'm very confused as to what to do, and as to what happened.

ANY help is appreciated.

usually the fast blinker is to tell you one of the bulbs is out, but it sounds like they're both working. You can try and change the bulbs to see if that helps, otherwise just see what happens. Sometimes mine does it for a day or so.

It is possessed. Seriously though it shouldn't do that unless one of the bulbs is burned out.

That is a dual filiment bulb, make sure your parking lights are working also, if not that may also be the problem.

bulb doesnt hav to be out for it to do that.. it will also do it when the bulb is about to go out..my ex-girl had the same thing happen to her..she put pink bulbs in her car (real cute huh) and they were fine for awhile but they eventually started burning out and the color began to burn off and they would blink much faster..just get new bulbs
