Left headlight grounding problem 96 civic sedan
As the title implies, I'm having a problem with my left low beam headlight dimming and flickering when I'm going down the highway. I'm running some after market TYC headlights. I've had them for two years with no problems. This problem has surfaced in the last month and a half. I've had the assembly of the headlight apart many times trying to figure it out and I'm getting frustrated. I've completely done away with the connector for the headlight, and have directly wire nutted the wires together to make sure that I have a good connection. I can literally tap my palm on the left front fender and make my headlight turn on and off.
This has led me to believe that it is a problem with the ground. I've done some research and found out that it is the G202 body ground, but I can't seem to find it under the hood. Is it hard to get to? I assume that it is on the left side of the engine bay, but I still can't find it.
Any suggestions with this would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks, Patrick
