my hatch leaks and when it rains i get a good sized puddle in the spare wheel well. it comes down from the tail lights i think. will the water rust/corrode, or mess up the metal back there? i try to soak it all up after it stops raining, but sometimes it stays back there for a day or two cause i forget. will it mess anything up?

Pop that little black cap out and let it drain...not sure if the Eg's have one

if not take a very small drill bit and drill a hole in the lowest point

get new gaskets for your tail lights if its your tail lights

do u still have the rear wiper? if not check where the rear wiper washer fluid line goes on . its right under the wing in the middle. there should be a rubber plug there if not that could be your problem
