leaky del sol... make it stop!
is there a way to get my damn 93 del sol to stop DAMN leaking? my knee got all wet today... and its dripping right onto the gas cap opener lever. and there is a lock there., and its gonna get all rusty!

In 95, they changed the seals to a diffrent style, and with them, they do not leak. Go to the dealer and buy them. Other thing that all sol owners should do is coat the hell out of the seals with Dielectric grease.

eh i just stick a towel between the window and top, and call it a day. don't feel like spending $500+ on seals.

the question with a convertible is not does it leak, it's where does it leak. I used some black silicone to patch up the rough spots in my weather stripping and it's seems to be hold up well only leaking when raining heavily and i'm parked on a slope. Apply the silicone over rough spots and go over it with masking tape to give a smooth finish. Oem honda rubber is expensive.
