leaking head in gsr-t del sol
My block looking from the front is leaking at the passenger side corner were the block meets the head by the b18c1 stamp it leaks a little coolant and oil and the car burns oil when i get on the throttle but nothing major. Im leaning towards a new headgasket The engine is brand new so that why this issue is confusing me.
Could it be a leaking h.G.?
Need of new dowels pins?
Lifted head studs?
Like I said its a new engine and when the shop rebuilt it I used ARP studs do I need to replace these again for a new headgasket.
Also, when lifting the head do you need to remove the cams out to get to the studs...I am first going to check the torque on the headstuds and make sure the torque is good on them. I am scared to take the cams out because I do not want to mess up the timing and install them wrong and be in a world of hurt.

throw a new valve cover gasket on and torque it down to specs. How long ago was this engine rebuilt if not long ago take it back to them its there problem. Maybe installation error somewhere.

like two years ago but I have been deployed 3 times in between so there are little miles on the engine just brake-in and about 6 pulls at the strip with out the turbo on.
why would a valve cover gasket cause this?
