Well this morning i went to my garage to find some wasp repelant and noticed my garage reaked of gasoline. so my first instinct was to look under to car to check for a leak.. and to my surprise there was a nice lil puddle of gasoline on my garage floor.

Not only does the gas prices kill my wallet i gotta deal with losing gas when im not even driving..

Soo is there anyway to fix this without having to dump all my gas?? Has anyone had a problem like this before?? PLZ HELP ME !!

dont weld it!. yes listen to that guy. go to walmart and look for the stuff called JB WELD. sand down where its leaking a little bit and paste that jb stuff on. its really like instant metal/weld. takes a couple hrs to dry tho. ur gonna have to remove ur gas tank.

LOL, If this guy really did jb weld his gas tank cause he listened to you and that jb weld doesn't work he hits a bump and his car blows up, how you gonna feel knowing you just killed somebody..

DO NOT use JB weld.. Find out were the leaks come from and go from there..

I do know where the leak is..

I will most likely get a new tank now.. What are the safest methods of gettin rid of the gasoline and storing without blowing myself to pieces.

Go to an auto parts store and look in the sealant/glue stuff aisle. You should be able to find something that will list gas tanks as something that can be fixed.

Depending on how much gas is in the tank and how many containers you have you can disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail or the regulator, run the hose to a container, turn the key to the on position, and watch the fuel come out. (Two person job)

Drop the tank. Pour said gas out of the filler tube. Inspect hole. Where exactly is this leak? Call your local junkyard.

yes, where is it leaking from?

also, there is a drain plug in your gas tank somewhere along the bottom. drain it from there into a gas can then dump it into another vehicle.

i'm not sure about the drain but if it doesn't have it, you can put at least a meter long hose in the tank, suck on the hose for half a second and put it in a tube... gas should start pouring outta the gas tank into the tube/container
