Default Leaking engine problems

First post on here but I figured I’d get some good reply’s, so I have a b20v swap in my em1 and it keeps leaking but I can’t seem to find where it’s leaking from I’ve changed my oil filter and oil, inspected my pan to see if it was cracked but nothing I could see. It’s leaking in what looks to be 2 spots on right above the tranny and the other is the complete opposite side of where the pans at, today was the first day diving it in a while and I filled the tank up and it barely wanted to start and drove fine until I got into the parking lot of my work and it started bucking and it’s never bucked before.

Check your distributor o-ring and could be leaking from inside distributor. Those could leak on top your tranny down to the bottom. Also check your tranny too, could be the seal on the around the case leaking tranny fluid.

The VTEC solenoid gaskets can leak a lot. It will only leak when the engine is running and also may only leak when VTEC is engaged.

Check what they said ^^^ above. Just replace those regardless cause it's probably your problem. Afterwards clean the engine really good with some brakekleen and run/drive the engine/car for a while, engage VTEC, take a look around everywhere for leaking oil and follow it back to where it's coming from. Doesn't take long for oil to leak out if it's going too.

I have the same exact problem with my B20v. I've searched a ton and found out that they can also leak where the head meets the block on the passenger side front corner. Mine isn't leaking there but I have a good feeling its the distributor o-ring and also my vtec solenoid.

Do you still have your b16 tranny backing plate?
