LDC Collection Systems/Registration Question. Please Read.
Alright, the thing is I used to have a 92 hatchback that got in an accident. The registration tags expired soon after and since I wasn't going to drive it, I didn't register the car for the next year. One day, I parked the car right in front of my house, and ended up getting a citation for expired tags. Okay, I figured, that was my fault, so I paid that due and parked the car back into the garage. Couple months later, the car was sold. Now, I'm receiving a letter in the mail from the LDC Collection Systems informing me that I owe them $85.00. Now if I paid the citation issued for expired tags, what could this letter be? an error? or am I missing something? Could it be that, when I got the citation, it was mandatory to register my car?
