2.Pull the cel codes...
3.Check for vacuum leaks, shouldn't be hard to determine where the leak is...
Idle problem is most likely from the vac leak but always a good idea to clean the iacv anyways. Youd be surprised how much carbon will be inside of it.

If you're using a 99 Y8 manifold, there are air injection holes you'll have to block off if you don't have the right equipment to hook up to them:

That should answer a few of your questions

Re: The Layout For My Car
Cant post attachments yet.
1. Never removed the piece yet. It is green right?
2. Never done this. Maybe a local Pepboys can do this for free?
3. I downloaded pictures of vacuum leaks but haven't really got a good picture to clarify exactly how many vacuum hoses there are, where there are and exactly where they go, plus which need to be blocked off because I know for sure I have 1 screw inside a tube to block something. I do hear pulling air sound somewhere near the top of the intake manifold. Do have Y8 injectors with Y8 Intake manifold on Y7 lol

2. ECU is stock from Honda Civic Coupe EX 1999 Auto D16Y8
3. Not technically. I just kept refilling and cap'd it. Then filled the overflow container. Turned up the heat with a/c. Been 1 week so far.

Guys, forgot to mention, I've been tweaking with the flat head screw adjustment on the throttle body at this point.
P.s. Will Be Putting on old Y8 Head Cylinder From Previous Y8 "Spun Beaing?" Engine

Re: The Layout For My Car
- Pull the codes. There is a link in the stickys at the top of this forum that describes how to pull CEL codes with a paperclip.
- Replace the ECU with a '99 - '00 CX/DX/LX ECU. You also need to replace the transmission with a CX/DX/LX automatic to avoid getting a P0715 code due to a different 3rd gear ratio, as well as harsh shifting.
- Park the car on a hill with the front pointed up, run it with the cap off and the heater control turned to hot until the fan comes on. Add coolant as necessary during the process.

2. If I put my Y8 Head Cylinder on instead do I still have to change Transmission and Electronic Control Unit?
3. Will Do

Re: The Layout For My Car
No, but if your Y8 was replaced because it had a spun rod bearing and drove a rod through the side of the block make sure you get the head checked out. Often the piston will come up when the connecting rod breaks and slam into the head bending valves and making some dents in the head itself.
