Default Lambda-Sond EJ6 (O2-Sensor)

Hi!

I´m knew here. I live in Austria and a good friend have different problems with his EJ6.
My english ist not really good, please excuse this.

But now, my request:
Does anyone know, which Lambda-Sond ist used in the BJ96 Civic Coupé EJ6? I have to know this, because our Honda-Dealer here in Austria want really much Money for this thing (approx. 220$) and now i am on the search for a Lambda-Sond from any NoName Spare-Part Dealer (for example -> Bosch), but therefor i have to know wich model is used to order the correct one.

Regards, Tautscher

I would love to help you, and I love having people on this board from other places than America, but I have NO idea what a Lamda-Sond is. If you can find out in English (or if that is in english, a term a dummy such as myself can understand) what that is, we could help you better. Welcome to Honda-Tech and great to have you!

Maybe you call this O2-Sensor.
The thing who works together with the ECU to provide an optimal air/fuel mix that the katalytic converter is able to work optimal.

The Bosche one works fine, just have to splice the wires yourself. It should sell for about $80 American and work as well as the stocker .

I've had personal experience with this and the Bosch sensor didn't work out for me. I do have the box still though and will get you the part number when I get home from school tonight.
