Laf cel... and wideband sensor question
i just bought a new civic vx...
well, i think the o2 sensor is going out, cause it give me a LAF cel.
well these l1h1 are so pricey... and i'm trying to check if i could buy something else that would work with my car.
i think i can also use: l2h2, bosch 13246
but on this website it says
walker 250-25001 replace 36531-P07-003, 36531-P2M-A01, 36531-PHM-A01, 36531-RCA-A01, 36531-RCA-A02
the 36531-P07-003 is the oem part for the vx but if i go on slhondaparts it cost 380$ but if i check 36531-PHM-A01... it worth 250$, and if i check 36531-RCA-A02... it worth 109$ and is a laf sensor (lean air fuel sensor)
so does that mean i could use a 36531-RCA-A02 sensor in a vx?

Re: Laf cel... and wideband sensor question (labatt50)
I think you have to use the stock Honda o2 sensor for VX's cause they are heated widebands. If you need one mine works fine. Just make me an offer. It works fine and is coming out Thursday for an LS swap anyways. I'd check your LAF sensor first and then see if it throws a CEL. My friends 93 VX threw the LAF CEL and we disconnected it, reconnected it, took the ECU fuse out, put it back in, and now it runs fine with no CEL's.
