L-series i-Dsi
I'm sure this hasn't been thought of that much since its not really a performance engine but I was wondering if the L-series i-Dsi motor could feasibly be swapped into any of the cars this section of the forum covers? I really only bring it up because of the rising gas prices. The Civics already get mid-thirties in mpg but that engine gets mid-fourties in the Fit. It would reasonably get the same or maybe slightly more in a lighter car. Anyways its just a pipe dream question to anyone who might know.

Re: L-series i-Dsi (Kaji)
for the price of the engine alone, ur almost better off getting the fit. If u can find a deal, u might wanna have a really light car cause ur just gonna have to mash it to get going, killing ur gas mileage. That would be interesting, swapping in engines for better efficiency, but that doesnt sound the american way...
