KYB???? (need help) UPDATE (PICS ADDED!!!)
ok so i just got my suspension (KYB AGX shocks with ground control coilovers) and installed it monday night... i have some rubbing issues in the front.... the car is pretty low and i love it but i can't hit a bump or it rubs in the wheel well.. i tried turning up the dampening on both the rear and the front (front=4 rear=8....its the highest setting on both) making it stiffer so it doesn't compress and rub as easily.
Questions
1. What dampening are you guys using (people with same setup as me)???
2. Also now my muffler is resting ontop of my LCA so that makes sooo much noise from the vibration and when i hit a bump it hits the muffler really hard....i'm going to try to bend the hangers to make the muffler sit higher do you think that will be enough???
ill get pictures soon and post them up
thanks guys i need your help

obviously it hasn't worked out that well for you if you're still having problems.
I took my car to an exhaust shop to get the hangars bent, they didn't even charge me.

Raising the car a little bit can make a big difference. I had the same problem with my car on the rear lca. I raised it just a little bit and totally fixed the banging of the exhaust and you couldn't even tell a difference in ride hight.
Also, I don't think the AGX can handle that kind of drop for too long. I had about a two finger wheel gap and they were blown in about a year

Re: (blackcivic11)
i had the same situation on my catback exhaust, just bent the hangars a bit and it pulled it up enough to keep from bumping the LCA. I have a greddy evo 2 exhaust, is yours custom or what kind? Also I am not sure of the lifespan of the AGX's but i would hope they would be longer than 1 year, my **** *** stock ones went strong for a good 5 before i put an aftermarket suspension on my ej8

Re: (blackcivic11)
AGX will void the warranty on the shock if the car is lowered more than 1.5 inch's. People have run them lower than that on this site and had no problems. But if you where to blow a shock and tried to claim it under the warranty you are going to get F*&^ED.
