KYB AGX w/ H&R sports?????
hi guys ....i just finished buying a set of KYB agx adjustables and a set of H&R sport springs for my EG. i am just wondering if the agx's will make the springs sit lower than the stated 1.75" drop and if not what will my wheel gap be with this setup?? also if someone has personnal experience with this setup or one similar, could you tell me how you like it, and how the ride is.
thanks
thanks

I had this on my nissan which was a 1.5" drop in the front and 1.4" drop in the rear, it rode really nice. Better handling. My brother had this on his hatch as well. It was a better feel than with the Sportlines he had. Definitely like the combo

well i know that i will find the car is not low enough......but i am really seeking a good ride from my car now....i've gone through the "lower the better " stage...while riding on dropzone coilover sleeves with 450 and 350 spring rates on stock shocks and bounced around for a year now.....time for a real change!!...even if i swap springs for slightly lower ones down the road.....

YOu had DropZones before? How was it. I think I'm gonnna take the cheap route with those as well. Ride quality makes no difference to me, but did everything work OK? Thanks!

Been running this setup on my EG for about a year. Good ride quality, and a perfect drop for me (steep driveway and lots of bumpy roads considered). I keep them on 1 in the front 2 in the back for daily driving. Experiment till you find what works best for you.

Springs set the ride hight, shocks just dampen the suspension forces (hence why they're called dampers) and do not affect ride height.

Some Konis have adjustable seats, so there is some adjustment there, but it's the acception. For the most part, shocks have nothing to do with ride height, and the KYB's have a fixed seat, so they're a fixed ride height.

I wish I could give an honest opinion about your setup but I have no experience with hr sports, I do however have the kyb agx shocks and you are not to lower them past 1.75 or otherwise they will blow.
I just put sportlines on mine and noticed they were already blown from my eibach pro kit I have on there. And they have been blown for quite some time actually.
I plan on going with koni yellows from robear racing as my next set up its like 510 on their site for the neuspeed versions which have 5 adjustable perch settings instead of 3 like the normal ones.
Other than that I think for a novice drop you will be satisfied until your need to go lower will come and then you might as well just invest in adjustables. It cost me all of 30 dollars to convert to eibach sportlines from a pro kit since it cost me 90 for the new and I sold the old ones for 70.
Well Thats it kids.

I'm thinking about going with the same setup as you (pro's and AGX to Koni and sports), did you need a camber kit when going to the sports? I didn't need one for the pro kits, but I'm at the limit of camber. Just wondering what I'm going to need to budget for.

I'm running on the AGXs with the ProKit right now. I was thinking of doing the same thing as 137 (switching to Konis with Sports) for a more agressive track set up, and was just wondering what the differences were, and if he needed a camber kit with the new set up.
