They are good for everyday driving but don't try to use them at the track or autocross.
Mine still squeal like crazy in everyday driving but they are good for the price.

my mom has them on her ITR. pretty good traction. took them to the track once..squeeled all over the place almost every turn...really good for the price though.

Yeah you can Auto-X on them and short of Falken Azenis there isn't a better tire with in +/-$20 of the 712 price for the same size tire. And Yeah I look every day to see whats new.

you may want to get 205/50R15 instead.
very good tire for the price.
Make sure you get the Z-rated tire.

I like them because I know my plan: Something to last me for at least a year until my suspension setup and motor is done, THAN get falkens and start autocrossing

Good tires for the money. Great traction when new but gets worse and worse the more they wear. I had severe wear problems with mine though, 4 tires only lasted about 10,000 miles. But I had some alignment problems, I had the 205-40-17's btw. Now I have some 16 Hankook Ventus Hr2's I like them alot, Quiet, good traction, nice ride, good treadwear and good tread pattern, I just didnt like the tread pattern on the kumhos.

Re: Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 (XpodX)
Azenis are actually wider than the average 205 tire for some reason so yes they can rub in very hard cornering.
I don't know about getting Z-rated tires. The past Z-rated tires I've owned never held up as well as W or V-rated. I could never really tell a great performance advantage between W and Z either. However, I've never had Kumho 712 Z-rated tires before.

Re: Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 (XpodX)
I'm lookin for good, cheap, and well performing tires too.
been looking at these (205/50/15's)
kumho ECSTA
Falken Azenis
Yokohama Avid T4
Sumitomo HTR 200
which is better??? --for daily aggresive driving, that won't send me into a tree when it rains
is there any other recommendations for other tires in that size? I have Nitto NT 450 know and was hopeing for something that would perform better...
Can i get some prices too... SPanK-YA-bERry-Much

Pirelli p6000's were another option on my list when I got my Falkens, I hear they're an all around good freaking tire for the money.
