Default KRAZY *** REV's at idle help!!!!

got a d16z6 motor who's throttle body butterfly would stick like mad. The only solution was to swap out the body. Got a d15 vtec throttle body with all the same sensors swaped in. Now at first two lcoolant/airlines were crossed but remedied that problem. When started the motor revs way past 3-4k rpm and keeps climbing so i shutdown the car immediately. The throtle cable is adjusted right and i believe the idle screw is also correctly adjusted. The map sensor on the d16z6 body was put on the d15 throttle body. Wat is causing the erractic reving?

You obviously have a vacuum leak. Track it down...

spray brake cleaner or throttle body cleaner around the tb. also make sure u put the tps sensor back in right. u will have to use a volt meter for that. make sure the cable is loose enough.

If your throttle cable is too tight, it won't close all the way and cause high revs. You said you already checked it, but that's what he means...
