The Koni yellow/Ground control setup is a very nice budget setup and i would recommend it. I have no experience with the newer S2 suspension

Any info on Skunk2 shocks??
They are pretty cheap and they arent adjustable. How are they better than other similar shocks?

well i have skunk 2 slip ons on stock shocks, rear are blown to ****, and i think fronts are as well.
doesnt ride horrible but not that good, the skunk2 spring rates are so high the car will never ride good.
no clue about there shocks but im also in to see if they are good.
my frined has ground controls, as low as they can go on his dc and it rides like total complete ****.
look into function and form, i pretty sure they are around the same price as koni/gc but the ride is a night and day difference and go real low.

What shocks is your friend using? The GC's are really not to bad at all if you pair them with a decent shock..... koni's and GC's is just swesome though. great ride and the is just excellent...

^^ **** thoes are high! any one know what the skunk 2 ares?? are they say is 500 front and rear?
he said he has tokico illumnias.
but as far as the handle is great, i was also thinking he may just have high spring rates.

Dude,no offense, but I can not understand your post at ALL. Are you asking how the GC sleeves will work on stock struts? Couldnt tell ya. They will blow soon I am sure, and would ride like *** id guess. If you are going to lower a car,do it right and replace struts and springs. or else you just run the risk of doing the work twice...

KYB AGX( i ahve had horrid results with these) and Illuminas( great results) The KYB's do NOT like to be slammed.I have seen countless sets blow out within a year on cars that were not even that low. The Illumina takes wayyyy more abuse and rode better IMHO........... Hope that helps....

I was planning to just Get GC coil-overs on my stock struts and since i don't got the money planning to change it later on.
That sucks because, i'm on a budget and ill just wait and see.
Yea i was thinking that thing too replacing it twice would be a double job and mind as well do it once but thats not option right now.
If i install Koni shocks later will my coil-overs get as bad or no?
how does Koni yellows respond?
thanks..
