No experience with the Koni/GC combo. I love my Tein's. They cost a little more then my AGX and Neuspeed combo. For everyday driving they are great. Good turn in and great adjustability.
I got spring rates for a GSR so that might be why my sus is stiff (but liveable).

TEins all the way I love my RA's stiff as hell but worth it every time I hit a offramp or hard corner

Get whichever you want. You can get custom spring rates for either.
You can either have a red/yellow suspension or a green suspension, whatever works for you.

I'm going to have to make the same decision soon too! What have some of you people done to prevent the Tein SS's from rusting and seizing? That my only concern.

Hard to comment again 1) I don't live in a winter type of climate (Like the northern states and Toronto). 2) Haven't had them on longer then 2 months.
I believe that spraying a anti-rusting agent and everyonce in a while WD-40 will be sufficient to prevent rusting.

I have Koni Yellows with cutsom Eibach ERS springs. ERS springs are what come on Ground Control kits.
My total price was only like $640.00 for the springs and Konis brand new. I already had perches/collars for the coil-over springs. If you don't have perches and sleeves, then custom Ground Controls should cost around $300.00 or so. the Konis costed me roughly $460.00 for all 4. so the average price if you really look will be maybe $760.00-$800.00 or so.
I love them, and in terms of bang for the buck I dopn't think you'll find a set of custom spring rate true full coil-overs for under $700.00.
Teins are very high quailty, and very bad-*** too. If you can afford them then they are a great choice too.
I also need to add that those prices I got were wholesale, but being online these days anyone else could probably get those same prices that I did.
Koni is the most popular damper in SCCA and many forms of road racing to the Grassroots type of enthusiast, where Tein is the number 1 supplier of sus to the JGTC and other Japanese road racing teams.
What's your budget, what's your plans for the car?

I got a good price on my SS from http://www.jaydm.com should be getting them shorty here........
I have heard many good things about the SS good for daily driving at a low rate and good for roadracing etc on a higher rate like 16.....I also got GSR rates for my EH2.......I almost did the koni/GC combo but for a few extra bucks I got the SS...
I'll be posting an amateur review on the SS soon....

I have 425F 550R rates with my Eibach ERS springs.
I like being able to customize my rates. I cannot speak with 100$ certainty, but I thought that you couldn't get the Tein SS with custom rates, and even if you can would they not also cost more ans take longer to get?
I got my Konis the next day and the springs were in stock at Eibach and took a few days to get. I ordered 2.5'' diameter, 8'' long with whatever rates I wanted.
I like having it stiffer out back so I don't HAVE to run such a big bar to get rotation. I'd rather have my *** end swing out due to soringrate over a swaybar because the swaybar is more unpredictable than stiffer springs with a smaller bar from what I've seen.

Re: (Ivan)
HA's are for Japanese market now. SS are the replacement.
You can get custom spring rates with Tein.
I have the GSR springs for my hatch........more then enough for my daily driver. I guess I'll see how they do with auto-X'ing.
